Adding Users


Q: How do I add users to my account?
A: First, if you would like to add additional users to your account, you will need to purchase them. To do so, follow the directions below:
1. Go to My Account from within your dashboard.
2. Then under My Subscriptions click the Add users link next to your subscription.
3. This will take you to a shopping cart to purchase addition users. Just enter in the amount of additional users and follow the steps of the shopping cart to check out.

Adding users to your applications:
1.Go to My Account from within your dashboard.
2. Then Select My Company's Users.
3. Then select the Add new User button.
4. Fill out the fields and give your new users information including a user name and password.
5. We suggest selecting Company Masterkey Administrator to give the new user full access to the application.
6. Then assign the application to the user and click Create User.

Updating Your Information

Q: How do I change my Member Profile?
A: First, go and log into your dashboard.

1. From your Dashboard, select My Account.

2. Then select My Company profile to change your company information, and select My User Profile to update and change your information for your account.

The Consultant Team

Q: Who answers my questions?
A: The consulting staff consists of full time consultants. The consultant staff includes CPA's, former business owners, and senior executives (CIO, CFO, etc) who come from varied business and industry backgrounds and all with either direct experience operating a small enterprise or years of experience providing a specialized service to small businesses. We also draw information from resources that are not full time members of our consulting staff, but are available for consultation when unique and specific expertise is required. All of the senior consultants have owned and run small businesses. Also, certain consultants have worked for large, publicly-owned companies. While their information comes from various sources, each consultant has in-depth knowledge in a particular discipline such as taxes, human resources, marketing, or technology and at least seven years of experience in general business.

Q: How are my questions answered?
A: Through our network of consultants, employees and business partners, we respond to questions posed by members. The scope of the service is generally limited to responses that can be provided by a consultant with up to one hour of research into the specific subject matter. A consultant with experience related to the member's question will provide an answer. Prior to the answer being returned to the member, the question is reviewed by another consultant to ensure accuracy and overall quality.

Asking a Question

Q: Where do I ask my question?

A: Login to your account and select the 'Business Consultation' application icon from your app selector. Once in, select the 'Ask the wizards' button. Then click the 'Ask our Consultants' button. The next page will ask you to select a topic, then write your question in 1,000 words or less. Below the question box you will see a notice to which email address you will be receiving a submission and answer notification to.

Q: What questions can I ask?
A: Members ask questions related to business matters of the type that would typically be asked of a business consultant. The Small Business consulting team wants to clearly understand your business questions and requests. Try to be clear and concise and limit the amount of words to 1,000 or less. Include detailed background information and any relevant details along with your question for our consultants to use in their research and response. Once complete, click Submit Question.

Q: Can I talk to a consultant?
A:No. Based on the volume of questions asked and our commitment to providing an answer within one business day.

Returned Answers

Q: How long does it take to receive my answer?
A: Our Consultants have a stated objective to respond to each question within one business day, however, there is no assurance or warranty that every question can or will be answered within that time frame.

Q: How are my answers returned?
A: Answers are returned via email and through your Business Consultation application under the My Answers section.

Q: Are my answers saved?
A: A searchable database of a member's questions and the consultant's responses are stored in the My Answers section of your application.

Q: What if I'm not satisfied with the answer?
A: If the response you receive doesn't address your specific question or if you're overdue a response, let us know. Consultants can't always read between the lines or correctly fill in details that were left out of a question. If a response to your question seems off base, submit a clarifying question or a statement regarding your concern. Once your concern has been brought to our attention, you will receive a prompt review from our resource center supervisors.

A: Yes, from the main of your Business Consultation app, choose from one of the eight content channels. Once you've entered a content channel, select Answers from the sub-menu. Select a topic to explore further.
